PROPOSAL TO ADD A SIXTH FORM TO THE SWEYNE PARK SCHOOL

The Governing Body of The Sweyne Park School has unanimously agreed to submit a proposal to the Department for Education to change the school age range from an 11-16 organisation to an 11-18 school. This is alongside our decision to consult on acquiring academy status, and is subject to achieving this status and subsequent approval by the Secretary of State to open a sixth form.
