MICHAEL LUCEY, BDS NUI It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the death of Michael on Wednesday, 14th February 2024. Beloved husband of Jan and cherished father of Gerry and Jessica. Adored Bompa to his grandchildren Ophelia, Henry, Hugo, Violette, Clara and Aoife. Our hearts are truly broken. He was a devoted brother and much loved by his extended family and dearest friends. Michael was a retired Dental Surgeon with practices in South Benfleet and Canvey Island. He was much respected by his peers and patients alike and devoted his working life to NHS dentistry. Michael's funeral will take place at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes and St Joseph's Leigh on Sea on Wednesday, 20th March at 10.45am followed by a private cremation. A celebration of his life will then follow at a venue to be confirmed. You were a truly remarkable person and you will be in our hearts forever. Thank you for the wonderful care that Michael received for so many years from a very special Consultant Cardiologist and more recently from the Heart Failure Team and Community Nurses.
