The Echo understands the travellers arrived in Basildon in May, pitching up at the Broadmayne, then moving onto Church Road in Vange, before arriving at the Kingswood park, and now into Langdon Hills.
In leaked emails to the traveller unit from former deputy leader Kerry Smith, it reads: "Can the unit be dispatched first thing on Wednesday morning to attend Great Bery Open Space of Langdon Hills please?
"The travellers that were at Kingswood have now moved on to Great Berry Open Space."
