TOY collectors are in for a treat this weekend as a well-known collectors’ fair comes to town.
The Julie and John Webb Toy Collectors’ Fairs have been running for the last 28 years, ever since the family businesses established its first fair in 1987.
Julie and John began promoting the fairs in the Bailgate area of Lincoln, where they were surprised and delighted by the immediate success.
They have taken their fairs to venues all over England over the last 28 years and their events have ranged from small ones of 40 stalls to largescale occasions with 350 stalls or more.
The fair will be making its first appearence this year in Brentwood on Saturday at the International Hall in the Brentwood Centre, Doddinghurst Road. The event, organised by daughter Lorraine Webb, will run from 10am until 2pm, with admission for adults set at £3, senior admission at £2.50 and first child at £2.
