LEOPARDS return to the Brentwood Centre on Sunday – after seven weeks away – one win clear at the top of Division One.
Saturday’s 73-66 victory against Hemel StormatHarlowLeisurezone, followedby a 75-63 win at Bradford on Sunday, sees the Big Cats now controlling their own destinywith seven games remaining.
Four of those games are at the Brentwood Centre on successive Sundays, starting with the visit of Westminster Warriors this week, tip-off 4pm.
The London side are second bottom of the table, but Leopards will remember it took a Dave Ajumobi basket in the dying seconds to give them a 61-60 victory when the teams met at Mobley Leisure Centre in late November.
Before the game there’s the last chance of the season for young Leopards’ fans to train with the Big Cats, with further details available on www.leopards basketball.co.uk or call 07828 470015.
Leopards certainly did it the hard way against StormonSaturday as they fought back froma15 -point second period deficit to pick up their 12th league victory of the campaign.
