TEN-MAN Brentwood Town crashed out of the FA Cup at the final qualifying stage as Didcot Town came from 2-0 down to win 4-2 at a soaking wet Loop Meadow Stadium.
Goals from Craig Reid and Jamie Guy put Brentwood 2-0 up inside 10 minutes, but they had their lead wiped out by half-time as Mar k Janes and Jack Longford brought Didcot level.
Brentwood had defender Josh Banton sent off early in the second half foraheadbutt on Jack Powell and with 10 minutes to go Josh Dutton-Black put the Railwaymen ahead before Powell sealed the win late on, sending the Souther n League side through to the first round proper .
Brentwood boss Dean Holdswort h reverted to a more familiar starting line-up following Tuesday’s Esse x Senior Cup victory against Brightlingsea Regent with only Banton retaining his place in the team.
Brentwood will be hoping for a return to winning ways when the y travel to Aylesbury on Saturday i n the FA Trophy.
